Non-poisonous Snakes Identification
This snake is found almost anywhere in the world: in tropical rainforests, in temperate plains, and in hot deserts. Australia is the only
continent on which members of this family are scarce. This snake is light gray or yellowish-tan marked with a light y-shaped or v-shaped
patch on its neck and also has chocolate-brown to reddish-brown, black-bordered blotches down its back and sides. Another variation is
colorfully ringed and blotched with red or orange, black, and yellow or white. A light neck collar is followed by black-bordered red bands
separated by light rings that widen near its belly.
